5/20/2010 - Spring Fling Membership Dinner

 

Callaway County Republican Women met at Arris’ Restaurant in Fulton for an enjoyable evening of fellowship.  New members were welcomed into the club.  Guest speaker was State Rep. Kenny Jones - Candidate for 6th District Senate.  Other candidates in attendance included Christine Kleindienst - County Recorder, Gary Jungermann - Presiding Commissioner, Christopher Wilson - Prosecuting Attorney, Denise Hubbard - County Clerk, Judith Groner - Circuit Clerk, Jeanie Riddle - 20th District State Representative, and Mike Kehoe - 6th District Senate Candidate.  

 

 

3/15/10 - Callaway County Lincoln Days

 

Thomas Tabback, Inspirational author of "Things Forgotten", co-author of “Joe The Plumber-Fighting For The American Dream"; and Tea Party Activist educated and entertained guests at the recent Lincoln Days dinner held at Callaway Christian Church in Fulton, MO.  The evening was emceed by State Representative Jeanie Riddle and candidates for the upcoming election were given the opportunity to speak to over 100 guests.  

 

 

10/24/09 - Republican Women’s Leadership Conference

 

The Missouri Republican Party and the Missouri Federation of Republican Women hosted the first annual Republican Women’s Leadership Conference in Jefferson City, MO.  This was an effort to cultivate and sustain female Republican leaders throughout the state. The event brought together conservative women and Republican opinion leaders.

Liz Cheney, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and

daughter of Vice President Dick Cheney, was the keynote speaker. In addition to Mrs. Cheney, there were several other notable speakers, including Catherine Hannaway, Former Speaker of the House.  Ladies from all over Missouri were in attendance and the event was very well attended.

 

 

8/29/09 - Woman of Tribute Luncheon

 

The 2009 Woman of Tribute Luncheon was held at noon, Saturday August 29, 2009 at the Country Club of Missouri, located on 1300 Woodrail Avenue in Columbia, Missouri 65203.   This was a special luncheon and an opportunity for each club to honor one of their local members who have done exceptional things during their service to the club and Republican party.  This year’s honoree from the Callaway County Club was J. Grant.  Approximately 150 people attended the luncheon and it was enjoyed by all present.

 

 

2009 Missouri Federated Republican Women State Convention Recap

 

This years state convention was held in Branson, Missouri and was attended by four local club members, L. Powell, R. Wilkinson, R. Hogan and T. Guittar.  

 

New officers for MoFRW were elected at the convention for 2010-2011, as well as delegates and alternates to attend the 2009 National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) Convention in Orlando, Florida in September.
